I Thought These People Were Weird. Then A Closer Look Left Me Absolutely Speechless.

If someone were to tell me that the people in these pictures weren’t real, I’d laugh in their face. The truth of it is, though, they’re not. They are creations of a London artist named Ron Mueck, who specializes in sculptures. He used to be a model maker and puppeteer for television and films (for example, he created Ludo the gentle giant in Labyrinth). Now, he focuses on making hyper-realistic sculptures of humans that have museum visitors staring for hours… I first came across Mueck when he exhibited some his amazing works in the newly designed Cumberland Hotel London. I became an instant fan. He is
truly UNBELIEVABLE. Here are some more of his incredible works for you to enjoy.

It ends with hyper-realistic art like this. If you didn’t know any better, you’d think this is just a picture of a couple together.

The most interesting thing about Ron’s work is that no matter how nonsensical or strange the dimensions or placement of the people are, they still look REAL.

Some of his art is very heartwarming.

  1. Well Well A very Happy Christmas to you, a man as you say who is on a ‘Crusade for others’. May I be so bold as to ask what others? Pity they don’t appreciated you hey Tommie? In fact a lost crusade I’d say? And poor old Tommy 70,000 (maybe it’s more now) and I’m the only one to wish you a Happy Christmas. Well, I do that dear Tommy because I think you are a bit misinformed and led up the garden path by the only other two posters you have, So Let me help you a little make your blog a success for 2014, if you want to FAKE a posting on your blog you simply copy and paste and it will come up with a date and with a colour background , but who knows perhaps there is another Gary with the same appalling grammar as you dear Tommy. Another hint to make your blog better Don’t post reports that are out of date i.e the Eastenders spoiler report you posted the day AFTER the event and today poor Tommy your giving tips for Christmas, it’s is 29th December today!!! Try not to lie in 2014 that would help build some credibility i.e You keep saying you never read Maurice’s Facebook, but you do Tommy and quote from it i.e Maurice’s posting on Paul McCartney and of course your constant lies as never looking at this blog. Tommy the truth been known your consumed by Maurice Boland you comment on him EVERY DAY one way or other. So Tommy it must be obvious to you by now NO ONE but me and perhaps TWO others are reading your blog (Joe Hawkins bad name Tommy make some that at least sounds genuine) . So I am willing to help but only if you follow my advice. Happy New Year Tommy or perhaps in your household it isn’t Christmas yet? So sober up. By the way here is a tip for a New Years resolution Tommy. Forget Maurice Boland exists. Only a tip Tommy so try not to take it to heart only trying to show you good will for 2014.
