Mr Roache, 81, who plays Ken Barlow in the ITV soap, has been on trial for three weeks at Preston Crown Court charged and was cleared of two counts of rape and four of indecent assault. The star was accused of using his fame and popularity to exploit 'starstruck' youngsters, aged 16 and under, in the late 60s and early 70s. But after less than four hours the eight women and four men on the jury unanimously cleared him of two counts of rape and four counts of indecent assault
Now will the women who accused Roache be named, shamed and dragged to court to be charged? You know some how I don't think so . What a disgrace to destroy a fine man and actor who's life has been left in shatters!!
Maurice, do you not remember the Stella House dances? When it came to ladies choice and it was a slow dance the girl would snog the face off you and if you were lucky drop her hand. Certainly remember never inviting some of the ugly cows who did that to me, Would that not be categorised as sexual assault? Perhaps it's time to go to court, or does the girl need to be famous?
