LETS BOYCOTT ISRAEL!!!

I know many of you who read my blog are not Israeli supports in fact it might be true to say the majority of you are pretty much anti Israel and I can understand that and live with it. But there are a small bunch of what I call Anti Semites (who hid behind the word anti Zionists to sort of make themselves feel less aggressive) This small bunch of Jew haters also hate every government in the world . You will often read on their Facebook's how they hate Blair, Obama etc etc, the real question is which government do they support or do they feel countries should be ungoverned and run by a dictatorial regeam, it's either one or the other ?

For years groups of half wits have been advocating boycotting Israeli goods and have continued to fail. Israel's economy is booming despite the boycott brigade, you need to live with that fact and move on. Most are a pathetic lot who are all mouth and no action. Do they use their computers and mobile phones developed in Israel is all you need to ask to see if they are nothing more than a bunch of losers.
They latest led boycott is called Artists For Palestine UK. Their pledge 'We support the Palestinian struggle for freedom, justice and equality. In response to the call from Palestinian artists and cultural workers for a cultural boycott of Israel, we pledge to accept neither professional invitations to Israel, nor funding, from any institutions linked to its government until it complies with international law and universal principles of human rights. and 700 have already signed up. Pretty impressive? or is it. Have a look: http://artistsforpalestine.org.uk/ Oh, only one thing I could hardly name but six of them, maybe you can name a few more? !!! Now on the other hand Taylor Swift, possibly the biggest selling female artist in the world at the moment is scheduled to play Israel in a few months following the 2014 concerts by Madonna, Leonard Cohen, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Pet Shop Boys Rihanna Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones. A pretty impressive list if I say so myself.

Up and coming concerts for 2015: James Blunt February. Alan Parsons Project February. Robbie Williams May. One Direction May. Kiss June. Tony Bennett September. Kylie Minogue September. Lady Gaga September. Justin Timberlake October. The Beach Boys November. Paul Anka November. Katy Perry November and Madonna and Neil Diamond December...

Again another boycott gone terribly wrong. I'd put this down to another embarrassing failure by the anti Israeli brigade! As Paul McCartney Said:
I got explicit death threats, but I have no intention of surrendering. I refuse to cancel my performances in Israel,

Celebrity aside lets look at the implications and what damage would be caused by boycotting Israeli goods in the hope the economy would collapse.
Think of this before you start supporting: What about the Israeli search-and-rescue teams who are sent around the globe to assist in disaster zones where the local governments lack the resources or skills to help themselves? What about the Israeli Arabs who make up 15% of the Israeli population who would lose their jobs if the economy collapsed. I suppose you didn't think about that then? What about the Israeli organisation Physicians for Human Rights (which had the ways and means to turn money into blankets and food for distribution in Gaza) or Israeli hospitals that treat 250,000 Palestinians last year?
Hamas Have just announced a boycott on Israeli fruit into Gaza but what about the Palestinian majority who have jobs in the Israeli fruit distribution centers? The fact that a successful boycott action that closed the factory down would return these innocent men and women and their families to the poverty line does not touch the hearts of the anti-Israel campaigners one bit. All that matters is having another false pretext to beat Israel about the head with.

PSC (Palestine Solidarity Campaign) publicity last week promised that “Human rights activists will be protesting across the country this Saturday...” This should have included “protesters... outside the John Lewis store in Oxford Street, London, and outside SodaStream stockists from Sheffield to Southampton, calling on retailers to stop stocking SodaStream products.” Unfortunately, someone forgot to tell the ever-loyal protesters, because hardly any of them bothered to turn out.

PSC and other anti-Israel boycott groups need to face reality; Arabs deeply appreciate the employment opportunities offered by Israeli settlements, they have no problem working alongside Jews, and statistics show that attempts to stop British shoppers saving the planet by buying Sodastream or from buying Israeli dates or whatever have minimal effect on the Israeli economy.

Someday soon most PSC supporters will wake up to the futility and deception they have been drawn into and will desert the cause in droves -- and the sooner the better for both Jews and Palestinians.

Now numskulls perhaps at last you'll wake up to the fact the very cause you claim you support is doing more harm than good
