Rabbie Mervis is an old friend of mine, he was my mentor and teacher when he was Chief Rabbi of Ireland. He then moved to UK and a few years ago he was made Chief Rabbi of Great Britain. I spent some time with him in London last year. a wonderful man, a gentleman and brilliant person.
