Here's news and photos I guarantee you'll never see on Lora A. Lucero blog. Contrary to what you hear from the media, Gaza is not an “open-air prison.” Everyday, Gazans are shopping in sparkling new malls, buying food in supermarkets and specialty stores, enjoying beautiful beaches, water parks, hotels and 5-star restaurants. Gaza even boasts an Olympic-size swimming pool.
Coca Cola to open Gaza factory. The new plant will compete with Pepsi, which has been producing soft drinks in the coastal enclave. Construction of Coca Cola’s first factory in the Gaza Strip began Monday, as Israels Coordinator of Government Activities (COGAT) in the Territories oversaw the entry of the construction equipment into the coastal enclave. The factory, which will be located in Gaza’s Karmi industrial zone, will cost $20 million and is expected to eventually employ 1,000 workers.
The venture was approved earlier in 2014 by COGAT by the Israeli unit that coordinates between the Palestinian Authority and the Israeli government. (thought they hated each other???)
The project’s initiators are Palestinian entrepreneurs Munib al-Masri and Zahi Khouri. Khouri is the chairman of the Palestinian National Beverage Company and owns three Coca Cola franchises in the West Bank.
Coca Cola said that, in addition to providing hundreds of jobs for Gazans, the new factory will lead to the launch of social programs in the Strip.
So we continue to read nothing but negative news about life in Gaza so lets try to be a little positive Lora Lucero.
Here are a series of photo graphs you can post onto your nasty blog..
Gaza Fruit Markets.
Gaza Shopping Malls shooting up all over Gaza...
Shopping in many of Gaza's mega supermarkets (doesn't look like any food shortage here, nothing like many third world countries as some madia would like us to believe!)
How about this 5 star hotel one of many..
Just another day on Gaza's super beaches..
This is not the sort a photograph of Gaza that Hamas or the anti Israeli mob want you to see, but, sorry this IS Gaza. of course I can show you bombed out buildings, Hamas is at war with Israel.
So you see there is another side to Gaza life including 5 star restaurants, night clubs and many luxury villas etc.
Unfortunately' I dont think the likes of George Galloway and Lora Lucero will show this other side of Gaza life as it won't continue to perpetuate hatred towards Israel. I implore you once again to listen to this video of Bassem Eid a Palestinian who was born in the Jordanian-occupied Old City in East Jerusalem, whose place of residence then became the United Nations Refugee Works Agency (UNRWA) refugee camp of Shuafat in East Jerusalem. Perhaps in your eyes I suppose he''s a traitor?
