Well, Well, Well can you believe it? Palestinians pan withdrawal of motion to suspend Israel from FIFA

Following Amnesty International shocking report on Hamas treatment of Palestinians in Gaza (Not one word of this on the usual Facebook's from the anti Israeli brigade, well of course not. Remember I've said it before and I'll keep saying it; the Palestinians don't matter only when Israel is involved) The Palestinian Football Association (PFA) have dropped its motion on Friday asking for Israel to be suspended by FIFA, while Israelis welcomed the move. But guess what and you lot will love this "The Palestinian BDS (Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions against Israel) national committee is disappointed that that the entire FIFA congress, including the Palestinian Football Association, have not lived up to their obligations and stated principles.

"FIFA and its membership have delayed the suspension of Israel, but they cannot delay the growth of the international boycott of Israel or prevent the continued isolation of Israel," said Zeid Shueidi, an official from the Palestinian BDS national committee.

"What happened today was a betrayal by the Palestinian leadership for the demands of the Palestinian people and tens of thousands of people around the world who were asking for suspension of Israel until it ended discrimination,
"

So this is a people who want peace. How the fuck can they achieve peace when they can't even shake hands over a game of football.

PEACE THROUGH SOCCER

The Jewish Peres Center for Peace is building peace between Israeli and Palestinian children at the grassroots level through the love of soccer.

The Peres Center for Peace is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1996 with the goal of promoting peace between Palestinians and Israelis at the grassroots level, through people to people interactions. According to project manager Sivan Hendel, “The center is working through all sorts of aspects to bring Jews and Arabs together, in order to break down barriers and build a sustainable future.” One of the ways that the Peres Center for Peace is doing this is through having Palestinian and Israeli children regularly play sports together.

PEACE THROUGH MUSIC.

The Daniel Barenboim Stiftung supports intercultural dialogue through musical education and concerts. The Foundation strives to overcome frontiers and to contribute to important reforms and renewals. In this effort, music plays a key role: both as a universal language that can help to encourage mutual acceptance between people of profoundly different backgrounds and as an intuitive means of communication that has a major role to play in the prevention and reconciliation of conflicts.

Its major activities are the management of all aspects of the international tours of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, various music and education projects, mostly in the Middle East, and individual grant programs.

The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra brings hugely talented Palestinians and Israeli musicians together to play side by side. The orchestra plays concerts all over the world and recently played Cordoba in Spain.

Love and understand is what will achieve peace, not hatred. Start spreading the news.
